AYC's Giant Anniversary Special Ends June 30

Summer is here, the sun warms the water and the islands beckon. While you are dreaming about cruising to Princess Louisa Inlet, don't forget that AYC's 30 Percent Anniversary Special ends June 30, 2009. The best charter value in the industry, the 30 percent off promotion promises huge advantages.

Charter guests enjoy an impressive one-third off the regular rates. In dollars and sense, that equates to more than two free days of a weeklong charter. As a result, many guests view the 30 percent savings as a terrific opportunity to spend more time on the water. Capitalizing on the great value, they plan two-to-three week charters so they can cruise to dream destinations such as Squirrel Cove in Desolation Sound, Octopus Islands and even the Broughtons. Other charter guests see this savings event as an opportunity to upgrade to a larger vessel with even more amenities.

AYC Offers Private Sail and Power Classes Through the Summer

Demand has been so great for AYC's boating courses, we now offer private sail and/or powerboat instruction in conjunction with charters. At the end of their customized course, participants who complete the requirements will be certified to bareboat charter.

While participants need to charter a vessel for a minimum of four days/four nights, most guests charter for a week or more. For the first four days of the charter, an American Sailing Association (ASA) and/or powerboat instructor joins your crew at a rate of $375 per day. The instructor requires a private berth, that students purchase all textbooks in advance and that each sailor pay a one-time membership fee to the ASA of $39. Sailboat students receive a three-in-one course that includes basic keelboat, bareboat and charter cruising courses (101, 103 & 104). Similarly, powerboat students earn their bareboat and charter certifications.

An amazing value, the private courses offer huge advantages to newcomers, families with teens and even couples wanting to cruise together. For the same daily fee everyone on board who meets the requirements, can earn his or her bareboat certificate. That means, for example, that for the price of an individual, four or even more people could benefit from this personalized learning experience while cruising the San Juan Islands!

Compliments of AYC!

One reason so many AYC charter guests return every year is the company's customer service, which includes a long list of extra and complimentary services. For starters, every yacht in the fleet comes with a fully equipped galley, complimentary linens and towels and every powerboat tender comes with a "comp" outboard and enough ice, propane and outboard fuel to get started. AYC's famous concierge service makes loading and unloading a breeze and the complimentary annual Washington State Parks decal AYC provides makes it easy for guests to moor at all marine parks. In addition, the AYC Loyalty Program offers great perks for Admirals and Captains. But best of all, if a breakdown occurs, AYC's Four-Hour Guarantee promises to get charter guests back on the water in four hours or they will be compensated for lost time.
