Big Savings when you crunch the numbers...

AYC's 30th Anniversary 30 Percent Charter Discount program is a steal of a deal. While this special opportunity lasts, charter guests are invited to choose their dream sail or power boat and schedule it during one of its 30 percent discount weeks. Or guests can choose their ideal cruise week and select from the boats discounted at 30 percent that week. The calculations are amazing. For example, charter guests can upgrade to a 40' Selene for 7+ nights for the same price as they usually pay for a 36' Selene for 4-6 nights. Similarly, charter guests may opt to cruise during high season because this deep discount lets them cruise through the warmest days of summer. Hurry, every boat in the fleet is discounted a certain number of weeks and is available on a first come basis. Flexible and dedicated to service, AYC is open to negotiation when it comes time to book your charter on any boat, at any time! info@ayc.com

AYC's Sherrie & Dan Meyer Take a Barge Trip through France's Wine Country

Former owners of AYC, Sherrie and Dan Meyer recently led a flotilla of two, Le Boat (formerly Crown Blue Line) Barges along the Canal de Midi in France. They organized a 40' barge for three couples and a 34' barge for two couples, as the kickoff event to their wine group's five-week adventure. Dan was the only real boater of the gang, but traveling at 2-3 MPH for 50 miles through more than 70 locks proved a breeze even for the landlubbers. As an affiliate of Moorings and Le Boat, AYC can help Northwest boaters arrange this sort of laidback charter option. "A barge trip is a wonderful way to start a European holiday," says Dan, who enjoyed walking and cycling between locks and villages. "It's relaxing, easy to do and you only need modest boating skills to enjoy the sights and the fantastic culinary experience along the way."

Placing Your Boat in Charter Makes Smart Economic Sense

Let's face it. With the economy in the toilet, it's a terrible time to sell your boat. So, instead of giving it away during this "buyer's market," why not consider placing your vessel into charter with AYC? "Many realistic owners find that even in a down year, chartering helps them get out from underneath a big mortgage payment," explains AYC's Mike Lovell. "Charter service for as little as 8 weeks out of a 20 week season can also help cover a lot of other expenses such as insurance, moorage and maintenance."
