AYC Job Loss Travel Protection Offers Peace of Mind

From start to finish your charter vacation should be worry free. As a result, AYC has further partnered with travel protection partner TripMate to add a job loss provision to AYCs umbrella travel insurance. This new job loss protection feature costs only about $20, a small price to pay for a boatload of security in these unsettled times. This expanded service adds even more protection to the travel plan, which includes benefits such as trip cancellation/trip interruption protection, medical protection as well as baggage protection for lost or delayed luggage. Striving for the utmost in service, AYC wants customers to be secure in their charter investment.

Special Services Make Your Charter Extra Special

While mom and the kids are sleeping in, untie the AYC rental kayak for some quiet time of your own. Whether you kayak around Sidney Island, peruse the “rolling stock” in Roche Harbor Marina or jig for rockfish in the finger bays of Sucia, water toys add to the enjoyment of most any charter vacation. AYC provides a full line of special services with the last-minute addition of fishing gear the most popular. The fishing package includes a net, reel & rod, but no tackle; guests can purchase lures and such at the Anacortes Ace Hardware. The next most popular rental water toy is the hard plastic, 9.5’ Streak kayak. It only adds about $20 a day to the charter fee, but brings untold pleasure to the adventurers onboard. AYC Offers Unique Service - Daily Bareboat Charters

Let’s say you are new to charter boating or only have a day here and there to get out on the water. Or, perhaps, you plan to charter a yacht and wish to add the fun and flexibility of an aggressive tender to your cruise experience. To meet these and other needs, AYC maintains a small boat fleet of daily and weekly, bareboat charter vessels. The 15’ Boston Whaler “Crab Lips,” equipped with depth sounder, fish finder and Loran, is perfect for pursuing the wily salmon. Also geared for fishing, the 22’ Boston Whaler-Revenge “Charlie Too” provides the comforts of a V-berth, portable head and enclosed helm with heat.

AYC’s adorable C-Dory 22’ “Salty” offers day cruisers a drop-down dinette, electric flush porta-potti, alcohol stove, electronics, downrigger and electric windlass. For those who appreciate speed and want to explore the San Juans in style, the 26’ Sea Ray “Mamita” is powered by twin 215 hp gas engines, sleeps four and offers an enclosed head, flybridge and radar. Sailors will enjoy reaching across Rosario Strait in the 22’ Catalina Capri “Teacher’s Pet” or “Recess,” which feature a shoal draft wing keel, all lines lead aft and 4 HP outboard. www.ayc.com/fleet_dayrental.cfm
